After talking to many parents of children with special educational needs or disabilities, we have made the following adjustments to our Halloween Spectacular SEND session:

• The session will take place at the beginning of the day, allowing our SEND visitors to be among the first customers on site and helping to create a quieter, calmer atmosphere.

• Reduced or eliminated queuing time at the station.

• Reduced volume of sound and music during the train ride and show.

• No flashing lights, UV lights or unexpected events/sounds during the train show.

• Our team will be briefed and trained to reflect the advice we have received from specialists and parents.

We want every family to be able to enjoy a magical day out with us in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Climb aboard for a Halloween train ride through the woodland, filled with spooky surprises along the way, before arriving somewhere rather special – The Pumpkin Queen’s Patch.

Hidden amongst the trees, this mysterious patch is said to be where the very first pumpkin grew and where the magic of Halloween began!

Here’s what to expect this Halloween:

• Board your Halloween train ride and journey into the woods.

• Discover Halloween-themed scenes and surprises along the way.

• Visit The Pumpkin Queen’s Patch and meet our NEW Pumpkin Queen, alongside the Wizard, Witch and Pumpkin.

• Every child will receive a special gift during their visit to the Pumpkin Queen’s Patch.

• Explore Fulfen Forest, including the Cobweb Arch and Pumpkin Tree.

• Capture some spooky family photos at our Halloween photo opportunities.

• Challenge the family in our games area.

• Visit Pumpkin Village, with pumpkin picking, marshmallow toasting and mini golf available for an additional charge.

• Head to the Craft Lodge to create your very own potion pouch.

• Watch our interactive Halloween Stage Show, where the Pumpkin and Witch reveal the story of the Pumpkin Queen.

• Explore Little Acorn Village.

• Let off some steam in our Adventure Playground.
